Ali and Tony's Feast Invitation
I’m making a difference fundraising for the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC).
I’m doing this by hosting a Feast for Freedom on 4th May 2024 to provide people seeking asylum with access to the essential services they need to rebuild their lives in Australia.
This is a meal that makes a difference and I’m inspired by the special recipes gifted by refugees that are taken from their own cultural traditions. Every dollar I raise will go to the ASRC so they can provide essential food, housing and health services to refugees and people seeking asylum.
Please join me an event on the 4th May at 178 Carlton Beach Road, Dodges Ferry at 6pm and /or make a donation to help me reach this goal.
This event has a Palestinian theme this year so please dress in Palestinian theme clothing and bring a dish from this cuisine as well. There is terrible human suffering in Palestine at this time, so part of the aim of this event is to raise awareness of what is happening right at this particular time and to raise awareness of what we can do to help. Just to note; the yearly annual feast we host whilst social and always enjoyable, can also be confronting with the information relayed.
