Story
The Rochester Community is making a difference fundraising for the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC).
We are doing this by hosting a Feast for Freedom in the Rochester Lobby this March to provide people seeking asylum with access to the essential services they need to rebuild their lives in Australia.
This is a meal that makes a difference and we are inspired by the special recipes gifted by refugees that are taken from their own cultural traditions. Every dollar we raise will go to the ASRC so they can provide essential food, housing and health services to refugees and people seeking asylum.
You can get involved by:
1. Making a donation to the ASRC via this page
AND/OR
2. Attending the Rochester Lobby Feast for Freedom at 12:30pm on Sunday March 24th
AND/OR
3. Bringing a fav communal dish to the Feast for Freedom. Check out the recipes on this website if you are feeling inspired to try something new
Thank you.
