Your Host Kit

Everyone that registers to host a Feast for Freedom will receive a FREE Feast Host Kit in the post to help ensure their Feast is a success.

Inside the Host Kit, you will find:

  • The Feast for Freedom 2023 Recipe Booklet with Benny and Esmat’s recipes, as well as our favourite recipes from past Feast Cooks
  • Conversation starter cards to keep the dialogue flowing, learn more about the refugee issue and reflect on the challenges of people seeking asylum
  • A handy Feast for Freedom magnetic shopping list to track your Feast purchases
  • A Feast for Freedom silicone pot holder to ensure you’re cooking safely in your kitchen
  • A table centrepiece with a special message for your guests about the impact of their support
  • A sample selection of fine teas donated by Madame Flavour for you and your guests to enjoy with your Feast
  • Exclusive offer from ASRC Catering should you need a little help with the cooking, or simply want to add an authentic starter, side salad or dessert
  • Free shipping from our friends at Goodwill Wine for to those looking to provide some delicious tipples at their Feast.

All of these items also make great door and raffle prizes!

Our volunteer team will endeavour to post your Feast Host Kit to you within a week of registration, however, please note that there are currently delays with Australia Post so it might take a little longer than expected to arrive.

Should you wish to help cover the cost of postage, you are welcome to contribute $10 during registration. Unfortunately, we are unable to facilitate collection of Host Kits from our Centre in Footscray as they are packed and dispatched offsite.

You are able to opt-out of recieving the physical Host Kit during registration if you prefer, and instead you will recieve digital resources via email.

Where possible, we source local products created from recyclable materials, in line with our ethical engagement policy. It’s a requirement of the ASRC that all production work and factories meet strict internationally recognised standards and accords and that documentation outlining the appropriate labor conditions, sourcing of materials and workers rights can be sighted prior to the production of any merchandise items.
