I’m making a difference fundraising for the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC).
I’m doing this by hosting a Feast for Freedom this March to provide people seeking asylum with access to the essential services they need to rebuild their lives in Australia.
This is a meal that makes a difference and I’m inspired by the special recipes gifted by refugees that are taken from their own cultural traditions. Every dollar I raise will go to the ASRC so they can provide essential food, housing and health services to refugees and people seeking asylum.

Last year we held our feast in honour of Gul an Afghani refugee who we had sponsored to live with us and were awaiting her visa.Â
In January 2024, Gulafroz finally joined our family and our country after a 2 1/2 year visa wait. To celebrate her safe arrival and the journey we've shared, we're hosting a Feast for Freedom fundraising event. Join us for a laid-back gathering featuring a whole spit-roasted lamb, Middle Eastern sides, and good company. Enjoy laughter, bubbles, wine, and sweets while supporting the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC). Your presence will help raise vital funds for ASRC's work in providing meals, medical aid, housing, and legal support to refugees. Come share the joy and make a difference with us!
