I’m making a difference fundraising for the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC).

I’m doing this by hosting a Feast for Freedom this March to provide people seeking asylum with access to the essential services they need to rebuild their lives in Australia.

This is a meal that makes a difference and I’m inspired by the special recipes gifted by refugees that are taken from their own cultural traditions. Every dollar I raise will go to the ASRC so they can provide essential food, housing and health services to refugees and people seeking asylum.

Please make a donation to help me reach this goal.

Thank you.

Wednesday 27th Mar
Hi all, I just wanted to add a note thanking you all for your time and contributions towards this wonderful event! We are so lucky to be in a community that looks out not just for our own, but also for others - when we work together and support each other, we are able to achieve great things. The feast is a testament to this so from the bottom of my very full heart thank you. Special thanks to Helen for sharing her story and her experiences, it really brought home how complex and difficult it is for refugees and asylum seekers to even get to somewhere like Australia. Thank you to Anne and Adrian, to Jo, Liz and Myf for your wonderful contributions to our raffle, oh and Phil from Bespoke wines (please drop in and say hi he would be so chuffed) thanks to all who attended and feasted and supported our ASRC fundraising. Super special night, can't wait till next time <3
