Lulu’s Table Feast for Freedom Story
Hello! I’m making a difference fundraising for the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC).
Last year I raised $950 through the generosity of big hearted humans who wanted to sit around my table to eat, connect and have meaningful conversations.
I’m doing this by hosting my second Feast for Freedom this March to provide people seeking asylum with access to the essential services they need to rebuild their lives in Australia.
If you have yet to sit at my table and eat my food, you will be in for a delicious treat! I love to cook!
You may be wondering who else is coming? I have curated my dinner guest list and wonderful kind-hearted people like you will be sitting at my table. I would love to feed you!
I am cooking a Palestinian feast menu to honour those who call for a ceasefire in Gaza.
This is a meal that makes a difference and I’m inspired by the special recipes gifted by refugees that are taken from their own cultural traditions. Every dollar I raise will go to the ASRC so they can provide essential food, housing and health services to refugees and people seeking asylum.
