Story

I’m making a difference fundraising for the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC).

I’m doing this by hosting a Feast for Freedom this March to provide people seeking asylum with access to the essential services they need to rebuild their lives in Australia.

This is a meal that makes a difference and I’m inspired by the special recipes gifted by refugees that are taken from their own cultural traditions. Every dollar I raise will go to the ASRC so they can provide essential food, housing and health services to refugees and people seeking asylum.

Friday 23rd Feb
Coming together to eat communally, share stories, to listen and learn from each other, has been happening throughout human history. The ASRC do a tremendous job supporting the most vulnerable in our society, advocating for the stateless and voiceless, providing legal, medical aid, education, pathways and hope. 

If you are fortunate enough to have employment, a home, and safety, please support this work through a donation. 100% of your donation will go directly to the ASRC  to help provide these same fundamental needs for others. 

It’s legal to seek asylum.
