We want to help make a difference by fundraising for the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC).

I’m doing this with Adam by hosting a Feast for Freedom this March to provide people seeking asylum with access to the essential services they need to rebuild their lives in Australia.

This is a meal that makes a difference and I’m inspired by the special recipes gifted by refugees that are taken from their own cultural traditions. Every dollar I raise will go to the ASRC so they can provide essential food, housing and health services to refugees and people seeking asylum.

Many thanks to all who came for dinner. It was a beautiful night with Persian music and food from the Middle East and North Africa. There were 30 guests including 2 musicians.

We had a raffle with original art and other beautiful gifts for participants which allowed us to pay for the musicians. Many thanks to all who helped make this happen.

Dear Guests and supporters of the Freo Feast for Freedom,

we are delighted with the support you have shown so far. Your efforts are being enhanced by master chefs to bring you a the best Middle-Eastern food in town. A big shout out to Freya Cheffers (Flamingo FOMO, Fremantle) for the feast and the Justin at Grocer and the Chef for the best fresh produce.

Guests on the night will enjoy the Persian musical accompaniment by Reza Mirzaei and Iman Sepahsalari.

There are still some seats left, so please tell your friends to join this delightful feast.
