Celebrate What Unites Us

Here in Australia, everyone deserves a seat at the table.

Host a Feast For Freedom this March and you’ll raise funds for the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre to provide food, shelter and health services for over 7,000 people seeking asylum who need support settling into Australia every year.

The Feast for Freedom Week runs from 18 - 24 March but you can host any time before 30 April.

Just make sure you register by 31 March to get your fundraising page and host kit, and be in the running for some wonderful prizes.

Register as a Feast for Freedom Host today and you’ll receive a host kit full of recipes gifted by refugees – so you can plan your Feast, and create a meal that makes a difference.

How to Feast

4. Hold your Feast for Freedom.

Hold your Feast, raise funds for people seeking asylum, and celebrate what unites us.

Where to Host

Sharing a meal can be done anywhere and with anyone. It has the power to unite people from diverse backgrounds as one family and one community.
Host at home

Come together with friends and family at your own Feast for Freedom. It can be at home, outdoors in a park, or even go virtual.

Host at work

Take your colleagues on a culinary journey, discovering new foods, cultures and traditions – it’s a team meal that makes a difference.

Host with your community

You can host a Feast as part of your community group, whether it be a church group, school group, neighbourhood community and more.

Host at a hospitality venue

If you own or work at a hospitality venue, you can take part in Feast for Freedom. Whether you’re able to host a ticketed event, dedicate a portion of sales to donate or offer an exclusive item for the day - you can partake and know you’ve made a difference.
