What's a Fiesta for Freedom?
To celebrate my birthday this year, I'm hosting a Fiesta for Freedom to provide people seeking asylum with access to the essential services they need to rebuild their lives in Australia.
This is a meal that makes a difference and I’m inspired by the special recipes gifted by refugees that are taken from their own cultural traditions. Every dollar I raise will go to the ASRC so they can provide essential food, housing and health services to refugees and people seeking asylum.
When should I donate?
Please make a donation during or after my party to help me reach this goal. I want you to taste our cooking first!
Will there be vegan options?
Yes. There will be a range of food from different cuisines, with a few vegan options.
What should I bring?
Drinks would be great!
Can I bring a +1?
Space might be a little tight, so ask me first please!
Isn't your birthday later in the month?
Yes, but circumstances arise that will make the 16th a special day!
